Roots Jewelry: Seed Necklaces

These three are made with the seed hearts that I collected and drilled in the Bay Islands, Honduras, seeds from Brazil, and the new colors of acai seeds that I just got recently in Otavalo, Ecuador.
Above:  I loved this one; it sold right away.  Made with some nice vegetable ivory.
Below: I have been wearing this one myself. It may become another addition to the collection!

A Couple of Festival Pictures

Amy and Ashley.  Amy has on sea foam green acai beaded hoops and a beaded rainbow hat that I made to match my shoes.  Later I wished I had put a big gold heart behind the rainbow because the hat looks plain.  Ashley has on the sea foam green roots necklace.  Below is a couple who appreciated the beadwork I do.  The beaded necklaces they are wearing are actually tubular covers for the lanyards of their backstage passes.

My Crochet Shirts

Red sparkly mesh shirt, 100% cotton.  Roots necklace.  This picture is with Tuff Lion who is wearing his nice crown.  I made the crown in La Paz, Bolivia. Peace Crown!
Camping at the festival.  My two friends both picked out gold-colored beanies.  My head is gold-colored too!  My earrings are small Africas with gold chain made by my friend Eva.  My skirt is made by another friend, Cierra. Inspiring artists!  And that is my newest shirt- 100% cotton whites!

Africa Culture Cap

Scream! That is what two people who I showed these have done so far!  They are pretty exciting.  All hand-sewed gold Africa with recycled camo fabric background.  Blessed Mama Africa!

Seed Hoops

I love this style.  Blingin' but still roots.  Made with natural seeds from Brazil and Nicaragua.  Now I am making them with stronger gold-tinted wire.  Look for me selling them at Sierra Nevada World Music Festival coming up in a week or so!

Abalone Shell Earrings

These are baby-sized abalone shells made into stunner earrings.  They are still big for earrings, about four inches long.  Natural and also glamorous.

Amber Hoops

Star Earrings

Love these star beads I got in La Paz.  Long gold chain makes them fun and elegant.

Rainbow Shoes

These are cute little black moccasin/tom's type canvas shoes that I sewed beads onto.  Comfy and cute with Rasta Rainbows!
