Ahh Cusco!

Beautiful view at Temple of the Moon
Natural wool beret made up at Temple of the Moon
Another great view from up there; love the snow-capped peak in the background!
Busy doing beads bright and early in the morning.  Bless the Argentines for the mate!
 Maaaantas!
Love my sacred sarong, socks with sandals, and pants that were the maid at the hostal's!

Below is a close-up on Jamuna's earrings. Love the leaf in the hair girl!  I know how you got that!

Fun with Friends in Cusco

The handwarmers really did their job in Peru.  Elizabeth is modeling a natural wool beret.
Wada!  Here is my friend Guadelupe, from Argentina, in her room with her mate and her teal beret.

Above is Nicolas in a natural brown wool brimmed, ribbed cap.  With him is Jamuna, modeling a grey sparkly earflap cap with pompoms.  Below is Guadelupe, me and another friend who got the brown and gold button cap.

Here is a friend of Guadelupe's, at the hostal, wearing a woven headband I made.

At the Parche

Here is a great picture of me with my friend Larissa.  Larissa was pictured on the blog before, when we met last year at the farm in Belize.  Since then we have hung out in Santa Cruz and now in Cusco!
Really cute kid in his new beanie!
Above is my Chinese-Peruvian-Californian friend who likes yoga and platano brownies!  She is modeling a classic black pom pom beret.
Below are my Chilean friends and their parche of hoop earrings.  She is wearing the new handwarmers she designed and he has his dread hat which he also custom ordered.  Irie!

Close-up of the handwarmers; that is a light blue sequin in the middle of the flower.  I love that she loved this bold pistachio color!

Crafting with Jamuna in Cusco

The beads and a new earring on some sacred rocks, Table Huaca, Cusco.

My friend Jamuna is making her first hat!  Already she is so pro.
Below is a view of Cusco at sunset time.

Jamuna's amazing beret!  She came up with this beautiful style with the flower at the top in back.  I am so proud of her!  Now it is me who will be copying her!

Mario Seixas

Here is a great reggae artist from Brazil.  Follow the link to his blog to see his music video of "I give thanks and praise".  In it he is using a green dread cap that I made.  Look for it in the scene where he is wearing a blue v-neck shirt.
