Ras Rings Handwarmers

I made these handwarmers by first wrapping yarn around little plastic rings that I salvaged and then weaving them on to the backs of the hands.

The Donette

I want to rename this style the Donette after my friend DJ Donette G who inspired this look.

Coral and pearl

Grey and turquoise

Hot pink and white

Brown and gold

WAMMfest

Me with Alexa, who is wearing her new beanie.

Nice girls who got feather earrings and this open-knit olive beanie.  That is a poster for the band that was playing.

My favorite new newsboy cap which sold.  Coral pink wool with zebra buttons!

My lovelies

Beautiful ladies, beautiful hats!

Nice necklaces!

Amy's camo and gold thread newsboy in the middle here is a smash hit!

Crazy Animal

This animal hat is made from shorter pieces of yarn creating a patchwork effect.  To finish it off it has a red tongue sticking out!

Newsboys for Maria at the Hat Co.

These hats are for sale at the Hat Co. downtown Santa Cruz.  The colors are: white/gold, aqua/black, oatmeal/pearl, olive/bronze, gray/black, raspberry, purple/black, brown, black sparkly green/black, forest/silver.

Headbands

Here are two new headbands that I am proud of: the brown one is done in a scalloped stitch with some vintage color changing yarn I found at the Santa Cruz flea market.  The other is actually very neon; it is a rainbow!  They are for sale at the Kresge Co-op, UCSC.  School's in session!

Cypress Lounge

This was the last night of the long-running dancehall reggae night at the the Cypress.  It was such a pleasure and a blessing to be able to set up my table on the back patio.  This night was very nice; many of my friends were there, sales were great, and so was the music.

Here is Calvin wearing his necklaces.  He got the large one that night; and he has a third one which is red with a teardrop-shaped coconut centerpiece.

This is Nani, originally from Kauai.  She could picture the tropical fish that inspired my Roatan Beauties and has been wearing these earrings ever since!

The panda found a home!

Michael and Amy looking great in their new hats- camo for him and white and gold news for her.  Amy also got some great feather earrings which she is wearing here.
