This hat is a Richard Scary character named Sally who is a orange and white cat with a red bow. I made her for a five-year-old girl named Jaida. Those are red flowers I added at the ties.

New Crochet Cable Beanies!!
I always knew it was possible to make cables in crochet and not just knit, but I never took the time to learn until just now. Thanks to a great pattern spot: http://www.rheatheylia.com/index.php?page=patterns
Rasta Sparkly Bow Hat
These are sparkly threads that I used in the bow; they are from when I learned weaving with the traditional back-strap loom in Guatemala, 2003. The threads are wrapped on spools made from bamboo. Nice.

New Bag
Here is my new bag made from the same pattern as my huge hat bag. It holds so much. And now I have made this one with a padded strap. I re-inforced the old one with a padded strap too. Those are quilted hearts on the strap. (below)

It was his birthday on June 4th. Above is a lavender sachet with antique buttons sewed on. Below is a sunglasses pouch in orange, gold and olive and my favorite shell earrings that I made on Little Corn Island.

Vintage Fabrics
These are some vintage fabrics I have been working with to make bags. The one above is an upholstry fabric that was a remnant from my Grandmother's couch. The fabric is a great weight for making strong bags.
