Here is Aubrey and Billie, modeling their new earflap hats! My friends are so pretty.

Here is a beautiful set made with lilac wool and pearl beads. The size small hat has a scalloped edge.
Very soft, multi stripes.
Red and white "Where's Waldo?" beanie.
Heavy grey and gold wool brimmed dread tam. Very warm and great as a winter hat.

Kitty Ears
These two hats I made for my friends Jesse and Aaron in exchange for a huge bag of yarn! Her purple one has little rounded earflaps and they both have kitty ears.
With the matching handwarmers.
And here they are wearing them!
This is me with my friends set up under my tree at the farmer's market, downtown Santa Cruz.
This is Davis, who is on a bicycle trip. He got this bear hat and he shared his cool booklet with me. I absolutely loved his book of drawings and many were of animal hats! His blog is: falsehoop.blogspot.com

Hawaii Hats
These hats were inspired by my cool girlfriends who are going to Hawaii this winter. They are really similar to the one I made for myself recently. Rasta hearts forever!

Tree Frog!
Here is my new little animal friend. It is a tree frog! I love the red eyes and I describe the yarn as tropical camo although officially it is called Amazon. Extra long earflaps with no tassel.

Pretty Girl
This is an adult-sized hat with earflaps. It was inspired by a hat that my friend Elle made. Hers was knit; this is my crochet rendition. It has red and yellow flowers with green spirals going all around and wavy ridges in the light blue.

New Wool
Here are three new hats made with wool. There has been a high demand for wool now that the weather is colder.
Wool/acrylic blend with 100% wool band. Sand and olive green.
Lime green, wool/alpaca blend. Very soft.
Wool/acrylic blend. Dark forest green and brown.

Midnite Crowns
I made these dread crowns recently to bring with me to the Midnite show in Oakland. This cowrie shell style has been worn by reggae artists such as Toussaint and Batch.

Hi There!
This hat was a pleasure to make. It can also be a puppet. I was sorting my yarn and I separated out all the little bits that I can't use. The color scheme was earthtones, blues, greens, purple and some orange. I love the open-mouth smile and antena.

White Roses
This white hat I made using the puff stitch and it has white rose buttons. The olive green one below is a dread crown. It looks good on; I will probably make myself one but I can't decide on a color.
Blues and Greens
These hats were inspired by a hat I saw someone wearing recently at a Steel Pulse concert. I like the ribbing with the stripes. The one above is adult size and has a vintage look because of the vintage blue and green color-changing yarn I used, combined with off-white yarn. The one below is child size and is light blue with white and a little tassel.

Headbands and Inspired Hat
These are two black headbands with a small black button closure at the back. They are extra wide. One has purple sparkles and one has green sparkles which the camera does not capture.
This one was inspired by a friend; it is actually the same color combo in a popular hat I make.
This hat was inspired when I saw the Indian Summer headbands lying on top of the royal blue sparkly hat I made recently. It is very sparkly; I incorporated the yarns I brought back from Mexico.

Creme Puff
Actually, this hat is not cream colored, but more like a light yellow. It features a red and white ribbon that can be untied if desired. This is a new stitch that I learned recently called the puff stitch.

Unisex Newborn Beanies
Don't know if it is a boy or a girl yet? These are what I came up with for the baby showers. Gold with oatmeal and vintage brown, teal with burnt orange and brown, and teal with aqua and baby blue.

My Handwarmers
These handwarmers I made for myself last night since the cold weather has hit and I need to keep my paws warm biking. My other pair got dirty and were drying in the sun after I washed them. These ones match my hood- peach with sparkly white. Nice and warm!!

My Hoodsie
This is me modeling my new hood/cape with Sasha. It is bright peach and sparkly white. It really keeps me warm and I made it extra large so it would fit over my hair (almost). I can even wear another hat underneath which is great. I also used a new stitch called the puff stitch! I was going to put tassles on the ends but I got lazy...
